Main purposes of job
1. To be responsible for the running of the Centre, including finances, organisation of meetings, maintenance of the website, preparation of newsletters for the Council and Supporters and management of all media. (However, external support will be available for some of these functions.)
2. To deliver the business plan, including attracting sponsors and supporters
3. To promote the Centre and its work to all relevant people and organisations in Jersey.
4. To establish links with relevant institutions in Jersey, other islands and the UK.
Responsibilities

2. The Centre is a paper-free organisation.

It is anticipated that on average the position will require the equivalent of 35% of a full-time position. The Director will be free to choose their own hours of work subject to attendance at a relatively small number of meetings.

Experience required
• Comfortable in working with senior politicians, business and charity leaders and commentators.
• A good understanding of the public policy environment in Jersey.
• Excellent communication skills.
